Deer Awareness — Support
A wind-biased hearing lobe, downwind smell cone, and a rough see hint for the woods. No account, sign-in, ads, or analytics SDK. Stand notes and photos stay on your iPhone or iPad.
Deer Awareness is an iPhone and iPad app published by Marshall Tyler Frith. It draws an ASSUMED wind-biased hearing lobe, a downwind smell cone, and a rough see hint around your stand, and exports them as KML for Google Earth or TAK.
This page is the App Store Support page for Deer Awareness. The write-up is Ready for Deer Season, and a browser preview lives at marshallfrith.com/deer-awareness/.

Contact
Use the contact form with Deer Awareness in the subject. Messages reach Marshall Frith directly. If the hearing lobe, smell cone, or anything else feels off where you hunt, say so there too.
Privacy in one line
No account, sign-in, ads, or analytics SDK. Location is used only when you allow it. Stand notes and photos stay on your iPhone or iPad. Full policy: marshallfrith.com/deer-awareness/privacy/.
Common notes
- The distances are ASSUMED model knobs, not a field trial. Every knob is labeled.
- You can deny location and still place yourself by address, MGRS, or lat/lon.
- Wind, weather, and map tiles need a connection. Saved 3D views and recent crossings still open without one.
- Stand notes, photos, and saved 3D views are stored on the device. Deleting the App removes them.
Requirements
