Software ideas floating around in my head.

I like making tools that help you see the world a little more clearly — whether that is a satellite pass overhead, the wind at 80,000 feet, a ship on the water, or the bottom under it. Space, air, sea, subsea: same itch. What is actually there, and can I hold the answer in my hand.

What this site is

These are things I build on my own time, on my own gear.

They wander. Radar pictures of ships, crop health you can walk to, when the ground changed, winds from the surface to the stratosphere, charted water depth, public cameras, a radio squeezed down to a byte budget, a tone you cannot hear. A couple of games. A home-run predictor that does not work. The spread is the point.

If you are not a software engineer, I hope that is useful. You do not need to be one to make a tool that answers a question you actually have.

Each page is a build log, not a lecture. What the tool does, and what broke on the way. The failures are the useful part, so they stay in.
