Drink It Now
Drink It Now
A wine cellar on your iPhone that suggests what to open tonight. Snap or pick a label, read it on device, optionally look up the producer on Wikidata, and keep your bottles on this phone.
Drink It Now (display name Drink it now; engineering product DrinkItNow) helps you track bottles in My Cellar and pick one that is ready to drink, with optional dinner-pairing notes. There is no account and no Marshall Frith server for your cellar.
What it does
- Add and edit bottles (producer, wine, vintage, varietal, region, notes).
- Optional label photo from the camera or photo library; on-device Vision OCR prefills fields.
- Optional online lookup against the public Wikidata API (no API key) to suggest producer / region — prefill only; your edits are not overwritten blindly.
- “Drink this now” / shelf verdicts run offline from vintage and varietal rules on your device.
Privacy in one line
No account, sign-in, ads, or analytics SDK. Cellar JSON and label images stay in the app’s Documents folder on your phone. OCR never leaves the device. Wikidata is contacted only when you look a producer up. Full policy: marshallfrith.com/drinkitnow/privacy/.
