Kompressor
Crops and squeezes photo and video down to whatever byte budget a radio link actually has.
Kompressor takes a photo or a video and gets it under a hard byte budget — the kind a tactical radio link gives you, not the kind a broadband connection pretends to have. You set the ceiling, it crops, scales and encodes until the file fits, and tells you what it cost you.
Write-up coming.
The iOS app's privacy policy is here: it collects nothing and contains no network code, which is short to say and worth stating plainly.
