Drink It Now

Coming soon to the App Store. A wine cellar on your iPhone that reads bottle labels on the phone and tells you which bottles are ready to open.

Drink It Now is an iPhone app for keeping track of the wine you own. It is coming soon to the App Store. For now it is in TestFlight, Apple's beta testing service, and cannot be downloaded from the store yet.

Each bottle goes into My Cellar, typed in or started from a photo of the label. The app reads the label text on the phone with optical character recognition (OCR) and fills in what it can. A "Drink this now" verdict, worked out on the phone from the vintage and the grape, says which bottles are ready.
