DitCipher

Live on the App Store. An iPhone app that sends Morse code as a tone, a flashing light or a buzz, listens for Morse and writes out the letters, and can lock a short message with a passphrase first.

Three DitCipher screens on iPhone: Send with MEET AT DAWN at 8 words per minute, Listen decoding CQ CQ DE DITCIPHER, and a longer message locked with a passphrase before it is sent.

DitCipher is an iPhone app for Morse code, and it is live on the App Store. It has two tabs, Send and Listen. It needs no account and no internet connection.

Send turns a short typed message into dits and dahs and plays it as a 700 Hz tone, the camera light, vibration, or any mix of the three, at 5 to 20 words per minute. Listen works the other way round: hold the phone near a speaker playing Morse and it picks out the tone, works out the speed and writes the letters as they arrive.
